A newly released report by the Equality Trust reveals how billionaires have been getting richer and richer over the past 30 years and continued to do so during the pandemic and cost of living crisis when the overwhelming majority of Britons became poorer.
The Trust published a report on 19 December 2022 detailing the extent of the increase in wealth of Britain’s billionaires. It makes for depressing reading for most people and in particular for nurses and other groups of workers who are told that there is no more money to give them a proper pay rise and that they will have to be content with a below inflation increase.
